here is another entry for the summer card challenge! i had so much fun with my green paper, i had to continue :) i made my own background with Denami stamps- the dot, dot circle and double ring. then i used the Denami tropical drink stamps, embelishing them with rhinestones and cutting out the umbrella! i had fun using a new color combo! hope you enjoy :)

here's my latest card :) its my favorite chickies back for a return appearance! its hard to see in the picture, but i glued actual glitter and sand mixture along the border of the sand in each circle. also, i made the flowers in the chickies' hair glittery and made the palm trees puffy with the crystal clear lacquer. also, the middle circle is puffed out with foam backing for added dimension! the middle is simple, but finished as well- ready to write a nice summery "hello" to a friend! this card was so fun to make! i was humming the aloha hula song the whole time! ha! :) hope you enjoy seeing it as much as i loved making it! how fun is the sand? seriously?!?! also i colored with watercolor pencils and blended with water... and chalked a light blue sky! i stamped "aloha" on the ribbon- i really wanted to try the whole stamping right on the ribbon technique! turned out great!

denami sketch challenge 2- three images across with a sentiment under. here is my housewarming card for my neighbor. i used old string from my mother in law's knitting scraps to make nests. then i typed the sentiment. of course, used the chickie! BEST STAMP EVER! hope you enjoyed :) denami chickies always bring so much joy! the sentiment reads: congratualtions on your new nest- welcome to the neigh"bird"hood!

A few pics from a baby shower I co-hosted! The gift bags had duck cookies (see below) inside! I had a ball taking the Wilton Cake Decorating class- the cupcakes turned out cute, don't you think? :)

My cousin's monogram for a bridal shower card. Saw how to make the roses in a magazine- love how they turned out! Nothing says spring like getting ready for a wedding!
This is my take on springtime happiness: fuzzy chick, glitter and flowers :)
